Start and Finish Location

The start and finish will take place at Grand Café LIVING, which will be transformed into a lively event venue with a stage, music, and catering services. After the finish, there will also be music and drinks available.

If you live nearby, we recommend coming on foot, by bike, or using public transport. You can park your bike in the bicycle parking area at Grand Café LIVING. There is a bus stop within a few minutes walking distance—Botanische Tuinen, Utrecht. If you plan to come by car, you can park at car park P6 Padualaan, and parking here is free of charge!

Tickets

You have received your e-ticket via email, which is a QR code. If you can’t find the email, you can also access your QR code in your personal Atleta dashboard. Click HERE to go to your dashboard. Make sure you have your ticket(s) on your phone or printed out so that you can present it at the start. After scanning your ticket, you will receive your race number.

Collecting Your Race Number at Runnersworld Utrecht

Participants can collect their race numbers at Runnersworld Utrecht on Thursday, 10th October, from 12:00 to 17:30.

In addition, all USP Campus Run participants will receive a €15 discount at Runnersworld Utrecht upon showing their USP Campus Run race number. This discount offer is valid until 31st October 2024!

If you’re unable to pick up your race number on Thursday, 10th October, don’t worry—you can also collect your race number on the day itself at the information desk at Grand Café LIVING.
The Runnersworld discount offer is valid on purchases of €100 or more and cannot be combined with other discounts or offers.

Runnersworld Utrecht will also be awarding a €50 gift voucher to the participant with the most creative outfit!

Changing Rooms

Showering after the event is not possible, but there will be separate changing rooms available for men and women. You can use these facilities before and after the race to change your outfit. You can drop off any bags at the designated drop-off point before the start.

Cloakroom

There will be a secure cloakroom available where you can safely leave your belongings. When you drop off your bag, you will receive a wristband that you wear, and we will attach a corresponding wristband to your bag.

Medical Assistance

If you or a fellow runner need urgent medical assistance during the event, call 112. For non-urgent medical help, call 030-8774491, and a first-aider will come to you.

On the back of the race number, you will find a medical passport, which we advise you to fill out before the race. It also includes the contact number for the event organisers.

Water Station

For participants running the 10 km, there will be a water station available on the course. You are free to grab a cup of water or Powerbar sports drink to stay hydrated during your run. A few meters ahead, you will find bins where you can dispose of your cup. Water will be available for all participants at the finish line!

Programme

  • 10:30 AM: Opening of the check-in desks and baggage drop-off
  • 11:30 AM: Start of the 1 KM Kids Run
  • 12:00 PM: Start of the 10 KM Run
  • 12:45 PM: Start of the 5 KM Run
  • 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM: Music and entertainment at the finish square
  • 3:00 PM: End of programme and closure of the baggage drop-off

Photography

During the Utrecht Science Park Campus Run, photographers will be taking pictures. These images may be used by the organisers on social media pages (Facebook, Instagram), websites, and in mailings for Central Events’ activities. If you would like to object to any photos being published online, please send an email to info@uspcampusrun.nl, and we will remove the image as soon as possible.

Course Information

The Kids Run and the 5 KM course will be marked with red arrows, and the 10 KM Run will be marked with yellow arrows! Traffic marshals will be present, but the roads will not be closed! Please follow the instructions of the marshals if they ask you to stop and comply with regular traffic rules. Pay close attention to obstacles (such as bollards and speed bumps), crossings, and other road users. Participation is at your own risk and responsibility.
